WHAT IS YOUR ROLE AT MEEROW?
I manage everything all at once; I work on collection design, and I scout for all the new trendy pieces arriving on Meerow. I manage the entire marketing process, campaigns, and the company's image, and I also handle all financial and logistical operations.
I enjoy being able to work on both the creative and logistical sides of the business at the same time.
WHAT WERE YOU DOING BEFORE STARTING MEEROW?
I had just graduated as a sales advisor and was working at Armand Thiery.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR PERSONAL STYLE?
My style is simple, original, and bold at the same time; mixing vintage pieces with current trends is my guilty pleasure. I love two-tone accessories and jewelry; I like the gold and silver mix.
WHAT WAS THE IDEA THAT STARTED MEEROW?
I've always loved handbags ever since I was young, and the idea of creating them always crossed my mind. Every time I went shopping, it was very rare for me to buy handbags, and the few times I did, I think deep down it was never really a style I liked, and I knew they wouldn't last long, but I bought them anyway, and I don't know why. And then, at 28, the idea of offering them became clear to me. So, I started my research and never looked back!
HOW DID "MEEROW" COME ABOUT?
I didn't know what to call my brand when the idea to create it first came to me, so I made a list of words I really liked. I started with (muse, strom, foxy, label) and stumbled upon the word ROW. So I started looking for other words to put together. I tried with my middle names and didn't like it, I went for the simplest option and thought, why not "Me" in English, so I chose ME - ROW, which I decided to spell MEEROW.
WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR INSPIRATION FROM?
Pinterest is my go-to for inspiration; I could scroll through my feed for hours. I also follow some well-known personalities on Instagram who inspire me.
WHAT'S NEXT FOR MEEROW?
I want to continue expanding my research to offer iconic and original pieces to customers, so they never run out of trendy accessories when they need them. This will allow Meerow to become more widely known, create a footprint in the fashion world, and connect with new audiences in different regions, hopefully bringing my style aesthetic to customers worldwide!
